Set up two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication adds a TOTP code, generated by an authenticator app, to your login.

  1. Go to Settings → Two-Factor Authentication.
  2. Click Enable 2FA.
  3. Scan the QR code with a TOTP-supported authenticator app (e.g. Google Authenticator, 1Password), or enter the manual setup key shown below it if you can’t scan a code.
  4. Enter the code generated by your app to confirm setup.
  5. Store the recovery codes shown somewhere safe — each can be used once to sign in if you lose access to your authenticator app.

Once confirmed, the page shows an Enabled badge, and you’ll be prompted for a code on future logins.

  1. Go to Settings → Two-Factor Authentication.
  2. Click Disable 2FA.
